There are many amongst the global transnational elite that do not believe in nations. Every empire destroys nations and homogenizes them into a new identity, and the Global ‘American’ Empire seeks to do the same, both here and abroad- just as the EU, a centralized bureaucratic empire, seeks to destroy nations and nationhood in the EU. But at the end of the day, the Nation is the single best unit for defending a people (hence every ethnic group desires to be a Nation with a State) and also the single best unit for economic, cultural, and religious life. This is what is at stake; and in this moment, do we have the clarity, purpose, organization, and strategy to renew America? Or does America fall, remaining a nation by title and commercial transaction, but nothing else?
The prevalent view seems to be the nation-state is somehow old-fashioned. I suspect many globalists imagine they will live in some well guarded place while the rest of us slip into poverty. I hope their compounds have high walls.
George Soros is on record stating the biggest impediment to his plans is a functioning United States. How he is allowed to operate as he does tells you a lot about how dysfunctional the west has become. A real tragedy.
Don’t many ‘native New Yorkers’ struggle with skyrocketing rents and cost of living too? That’s why Mamdani will win the election as he has made these his primary issues whatever one may think of his proposals to address these issues.
No. he represents the effects of importing aliens, as the author suggests. Import the third world, and you get the third world. The world is tribal; we are not. Our systems are wide open to groups who vote along ethnic, tribal and religious lines. The European style system assumes neutrality; you will vote for policies or things that benefit society as a whole. Almost no one else on Earth can do this.
Only simpletons now can believe socialism brings anything other than decline and collapse. This is people moving to the west absolutely determined never to assimilate. Also he is from a group Europeans have fought for centuries precisely because they aggressively seek power, then work to expel natives. Ask the Lebanese for details.
Finance capitalism has destroyed our manufacturing base and supports mass immigration. I don’t know of a single billionaire or CEO in Europe or North America who opposes mass third world immigration or The Great Replecement, or who is unabashedly pro-White. Musk might be a partial exception to this rule yet wants to maintain the H-1B program so it keeps importing Asian and Indian cheap programmers. The plutocratic capitalist class aren’t our friends nor is the antiwhite ‘left.’ Trump is a phony ‘populist’ working for his billionaire donor clsss and whose policies are purely cosmetic (forget about mass deportations). We don’t need wormed-over Reaganism or Libertarian rubbish unless you want a Boomer conservative support base.
I'm not proposing corporatism, and I am well aware they are the enemy. It is Blackrock pushing DEI, for instance. But nor do I want warmed over Socialism either. No thanks. Capitalism may want unlimited consumers and cheap labour, but we can tackle that. Their goals are primarily selfish and greed based. Short sighted too. Socialism by comparison will simply wipe you out if you are an enemy of the state. It solves nothing and only an imbecile would even consider it after the horrors of the twentieth century.
And I agree, Trump will solve nothing. He has done his deal with the globalists. He will deport a modest number and claim success. He still boasts about the vaccine.
I’m for destroying plutocracy. I want Huey Long not Barry Goldwater. If you live your people or Folk, you want all members of your community to have a good standard of living, housing, food, etc.
Yes true. I cannot buy into socialism though. That said, most want some kind of safety net. Plus, I can't really get behind offshoring or shipping industry to China etc. So I am not sure what the answer is.
Some limits on what market players can do probably is needed. Certainly being an American company and then offshoring the work and laying off your workers and hiring foreign slaves ought to be publicly shamed. Perhaps tariffs and charges are a way to do it.
I could definitely get behind initiatives that put workers first. Although full on socialism cannot be the answer.
