I fear this is the fate of the small city where I live. Our mayor is a bit of a rino and is never challenged. The demographics are shifting, dems are pushing hard in the county. I say he will lose to a muslim when they get enough people moved in. It won’t be long.
This is the much discussed fusion of the Hard Left and Islam. I do not believe the West can negotiate in good faith with either group since both seek the absolute destruction of the West in all its forms.
I have to admit I was a little surprised by the complacency in many dissident circles as though Mamdani was just some daydreaming idealistic socialist whose bark was worse than his bite. This article appears to confirm my worst suspicions. Guess whose coming to dinner written as an aerial message across the blimp flying in the sky of my mind was quite vivid as I saw Mamdani shaking hands with the president. The superficial cordiality of this bi-partisan photo-op must be transparent to even the lowest information voters. No doubt the discerning committed activist and ardent Mamdani supporter is not so easily taken in, but rather understands the ancient, wise principle of keeping your enemies close.

Unfortunately, mainstream conservatism is seemingly ill equipped for the fight we have ahead of us.

Discouraging. I’m not quite old enough and generally too healthy to be dead before they realize their vision.
Hopefully, more people in positions of power on the right will wake up to this.
I hope so, too!
